Habitat Work

WL of PA will again be partnering with the Col-Mont Gobblers Chapter of the NWTF for our Annual North-East Region Habitat Workday on Saturday, April 7th, 2013.  Work this year will be on SGL 226, just outside of Millville.  We will meet at 0800 at the PGC buildling just off Spruce Run Road and proceed to the worksite from there.  The work will consist of some release cutting of trees and also some tree planting.  Work clothes and gloves, and planting bars if available, are recommended.  Refreshments and lunch will be provided, and it's always a real treat as these lunches are legendary!

A woodcock habitat management plan is being considered for Nescopeck State Park and it is possible we will be asked to help with habitat work there.  If you have an interest in helping with this project, should it begin, please contact us so that we may keep you informed about its progress.
